Acoustica Audio Converter Pro is a program that allows you to encode audio tracks from and to WAV, MP3, WMA and OGG. It can be easily installed and configured.

The app basically integrates a function into the Explorer context menu. So, all you have to do is right-click a sound file and convert it to the preferred format.

From the 'Preferences' screen you can modify the default output directory and specify the CPU priority level, as well as make the app play a sound or open the target folder when all tasks are done, and to prompt before overwriting existing files.

In addition, you can normalize the volume of all file types and set the tool to automatically remove the silence at the start and end of the songs.

Another important feature of Acoustica Audio Converter Pro lets you rip audio CDs. On top of that, you can configure audio settings when it comes to the quality, sample rate, channel mode, bits per sample, encoder engine, and tag writing.

The audio conversion program takes a reasonable amount of time to finish a task, while using a low amount of CPU and system memory. It is very responsive to commands and delivers tracks with a good sound quality. We have not encountered any issues during our testing; Acoustica Audio Converter Pro did not freeze, crash or pop up errors dialogs. Unfortunately, no recent updates have been made.
