Adusoft DVD Ripper is a program designed to help you backup your DVDs in a user-friendly environment.
The interface of the application is clean and pretty intuitive at first sight. You can open the DVD root, IFO or MPEG file by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).
So, you can specify the output destination and proceed with the ripping task. In addition, you can select individual chapters for processing, select the audio and subtitle stream, set an angle, enable a luminance filter and specify the output frame rate.
Furthermore, you can enable audio and video synchronization, set Adusoft DVD Ripper to automatically turn off the computer once the task is completed, and more.
On top of that, you can convert DVDs to the AVI and WMV formats, as well as modify audio and video parameters when it comes to the bit rate, MUX rate, resolution, zoom, resize mode, maximum frame, and others.
The DVD conversion tool requires a moderate-to-high quantity of system resources, can take a while to finish a task and manages to preserve a very good image and sound quality. We haven't come across any problems during our tests.
On the other hand, Adusoft DVD Ripper's features are cluttered and hard to understand, especially if you are a first-time user and don't even have a help file at your disposal. That's why we mainly recommend Adusoft DVD Ripper to experienced users.
