Algolab Raster to Vector Conversion Toolkit is a program with a pretty self-explanatory name - it lets you turn raster images into vector graphics. It can be used by designers and illustrators.
The interface of the program is dull and uncomplicated; images can be imported with the help of the file browser ('drag and drop' is not supported).
So, you can rotate, mirror and crop pictures, apply negation and fill holes, as well as clean the image and make the lines thinner or thicker.
Additionally, you can use an external editor, apply vectorization (in single or batch mode) and configure recognition properties (e.g. architectural, mechanical, map, lines and arcs, curves, smooth outlines).
Other features of Algolab Raster to Vector Conversion Toolkit allow you to zoom in and out, use the undo and redo functions, change the image size and scale the coordinates for ASCII output. Once the project is done, you can save the vector to DXF, AI, EMF, WMF or TXT, as well as the raster to BMP, TIF or PNG.
The graphic editing program uses a low amount of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time. Algolab Raster to Vector Conversion Toolkit did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs in our testing; we have not encountered any problems. Users of any level of experience level can easily get familiarized with the features, thanks to the app's intuitive layout.
