As the name implies, Amor MPEG to DVD Burner allows you to create DVD movies from MPEG files and to burn them to disc. But it also supports the AVI, MPG, DAT and MPE formats for the input. The app can be seamlessly handled, even by first-time users.

The interface of the application is based on a standard window with an intuitive layout. Adding videos to the file list can be done by using only the file browser, since the 'drag and drop' function is not supported. It is possible to create multiple titles.

Amor MPEG to DVD Burner comes with several customization options for the output DVD; thus, you can alter the default temporary directory, disc volume label, TV system type, aspect ratio and display mode. Plus, you make enable the automatic deletion of temporary files (after the task is done). Settings can be restored to their default values.

Furthermore, you can preview clips in a small, built-in media player, trim them by marking the start and end time, edit the title and movie name, set the title duration, and insert chapters. Last but not least, you can create a DVD menu and add background images to be set as thumbnails.

The DVD burning tool has a fair response time, contains user documentation, and uses a moderate-to-high quantity of CPU and system memory. We have not experienced any issues throughout our testing; Amor MPEG to DVD Burner did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. On the other hand, the app has not been updated for a long time.
