Article Tools is a SEO instrument dedicated to content writers. It features a scraper that finds popular articles that contain a specific keyword, a text editor to write down ideas, a simple spinner to create multiple versions of the same text, as well as a PDF spinner for HTML code.

It's not necessary to install this program. You can extract the files from the downloaded archive to a preferred directory on the disk and just double-click the .exe to launch the tool. Just make sure that your PC is equipped with .NET Framework or it won't work.

The interface of Article Tools isn't attractive but it has a neatly structured layout, where three tabs are reserved for the scraper and editor, simple spinner, and PDF spinner.

When it comes to the scraper, you just have to enter a keyword and click the "Scrap" button. The SEO utility performs an online search and lists the found articles in a results list.

Articles can be read in a built-in web browser, so you don't have to resort to an external application to look them up. Meanwhile, the editor below the scraper can be used for adding notes while reading the articles.

The spinner has two empty boxes: for entering the source and viewing the output. It's not enough if you just paste text inside the first box and click "Spin".

For the spinning to work, the text must contain strings of characters with a particular format, which is typically used in spinning applications, namely {spin 1|spin 2|spin 3 etc.}.

The PDF spinner works on the same principle, with the only difference being that you can write HTML code. It's also possible to set the PDF information (title, author, subject, keywords) and preview the document before saving it to file.

Unfortunately, Article Tools doesn't display all variations in the simple spinner. Instead, it randomly picks the spin words and shows only one variation. To view the others, you have to keep clicking the "Spin" button.

This is rather inconvenient, since it means copying and pasting each variation when you could've just as easily saved the list with all of them.

On top of that, we've noticed that the scraper doesn't perform additional searches after displaying results based on the first entered keyword, which means you have to restart the program for every new scraper search.

Also, it's not possible to resize the browser window to get a better view of the page, and we've noticed that it also lists articles with no relevance for the inputted keywords.

Sadly, Article Tools has too many issues that we cannot overlook. It cannot be used as a reliable SEO assistant.
