Calendar-7 is a simple software tool whose purpose is to let you easily view the current month, by placing a calendar on the desktop.

The installation process is a piece of cake, as it does not come with any unpleasant surprises and it is over in a jiffy. After you complete it, you come by a GUI which can only be described as plain and simple. As a result, it becomes quite clear that all types of users can find their way around it, including those with little or no previous experience with computers.

As stated above, this application lets you view the current month in the Gregorian calendar and place it to a custom location on the desktop. It is quite non-obtrusive, as it can be hidden in the system tray with just a click of the button.

The main window is going to display an image for each month of the year, and you should know it is possible to go the previous or next month, as well as the previous or next year, with a minimal amount of effort.

Moreover, it is possible to add items to the calendar, with a custom name, group and marker (e.g. primary, personal), show or hide the aforementioned picture and the time, adjust the size of the cells and set the first day of the week.

In conclusion, Calendar-7 is a pretty decent and reliable piece of software, dedicated to both beginners and highly experienced users, due to its minimal and intuitive interface. The response time is good, the amount of resources necessary is insignificant and we did not come across any bugs, errors or hangs.
