CWM Clock is a lightweight desktop enhancement utility built specifically for helping you place a digital clock on your screen and customize its appearance.

As soon as you run the program, it automatically places a clock on your desktop. You can move the clock to any area of the screen, lock or reset its position, as well as make it stay on top of other utilities, and this proves to be pretty useful especially when working with multiple tools at the same time.

The Options panel can be opened by performing a right-click operation on the digital clock and selecting the corresponding function. You are welcomed by a plain and easy-to-handle configuration panel that allows you to set up the dedicated parameters with minimal effort.

The utility gives you the possibility to pick two colors for altering the clock’s appearance, switch between a vertical or horizontal displaying mode, customize the text in terms of font, font style, and size, as well as preview all the applied adjustments in a dedicated panel. Additionally, CWM Clock gives you the possibility to show the seconds and date (long or short format), or only the date.

Since it doesn’t require much computer knowledge to work with this tool, even rookies can master the entire process with minimum effort. During our testing we have noticed that CWM Clock carries out a task quickly and without errors. It leaves a minimal footprint on system resources, so the overall performance of the computer is not hampered.

All in all, CWM Clock proves to be a simple-to-use clock and time management application that comes bundled with only a few features. However, there is no support for advanced parameters, such as reminders, alarms, calendar, and notifications.
