DriverCure is a powerful Windows driver manager that can automatically scan your system and determine which drivers are out-of-date for a seamless update process.

Using the program is not that difficult, although it’s pretty clear that DriverCure is aimed especially at those with a bit more computer knowledge.

Once you launch the app, you are prompted to choose the drivers to scan, including audio and sound, USB, printer, video and display, Ethernet, DVD and other Windows drivers.

The scanning process doesn’t take more than a few minutes, with DriverCure displaying all drivers that can be updated, but also an “Ignore Item” to block further notification on a specific entry.

DriverCure performs a fully automatic driver updating, which means that you don’t even have to close the application because it takes care of the whole process. What’s more, it can also create a Restore Point before installing new drivers, just to make sure you are on the safe side all the time.

A scheduler is also available to let you perform driver updates at a specific time, while a “History” screen allows you to easily access previous driver updates.

The app works smoothly on all Windows versions, with administrator privileges required on Windows 7 machines. A help manual is also available to lend you a hand when trying to figure out which feature is which.

All in all, DriverCure is a handy piece of software, with very effective tools and a nice interface to guide you throughout the whole process. It also tries to make sure you’re on the safe side all the time, so it automatically creates a Restore Point, while also allowing you to ignore certain updates.
