EarthBrowser is an application that displays a 3D model of the Earth, complete with clouds, earthquakes and other physical phenomena, along with a weather forecast.

The interface is comfortable to work with, and the main window can be maximized to full screen mode for better display and control.

You can use the mouse cursor to rotate the globe, and the scrollwheel to zoom in and out on particular locations.

It is possible to toggle the display mode for clouds, Doppler radar, tectonic plates, volcanoes, earthquakes, National Weather Service warnings, tropical storms, popular panoramic photos, webcams, oceans buoys, international and US states border, US and Canada wildland fires, world countries, weather forecast, and aurora activity.

In addition, you can set a new placemark by defining the latitude, longitude and description (HTML, URL or text), open KML or KMZ documents, take snapshots, change the UI language, empty the cache, as well as optimize the database and use a search function for locations.

EarthBrowser uses low CPU and high memory. It may take a while to load the map with the selected settings. However, we have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation, as the app did not hang or crash. Unfortunately, EarthBrowser has not been updated for a while.
