FLAC2CD is a handy software application designed to help you split large FLAC audio tracks into smaller pieces based on a CUE file, in order to burn the new files onto audio CDs. It doesn't contain overly complicated options or configuration parameters, making it accessible to all types of users, even those less experienced.

The installation procedure is a fast and easy task that shouldn't impose any difficulties. You can indicate a FLAC and CUE files, as well as view the artist, album, track, title, time length and performer.

When preparing the new FLAC file burning to an audio CD, you can select the drive from a drop-down list, along with the write speed. In addition, FLAC2CD implements an option for erasing rewritable discs. You can also switch to another UI skin and language. There are no other notable options provided by this piece of software.

No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the software utility did not hang or crash. It has a good response time, carries out a cutting job rapidly, and has minimal impact on computer performance, thanks to the fact that it needs low CPU and RAM to work properly.

Although it does not come bundled with rich features and configuration parameters, FLAC2CD delivers a straightforward and intuitive solution to cutting FLAC files based on their CUE items, in order to burn the new tracks to audio CDs. On the other hand, this doesn't justify the price.
