The HoRNet 3XOver is an unusual plugin since it’s half a DJ-equalizer and half a three-band crossover with an adjustable slope and output for each band.

Basically it's a system of three filters: a low-pass one, for the low frequencies, a band-pass one for the mid frequencies and a high-pass one for the high frequencies.

Each of the filters has an adjustable slope of 24dB/Octave or 48dB/Octave, a freely adjustable cutoff frequency point, gain control, and an ON/OFF switch to kill that frequency band.

The 3XOver provides four different stereo outputs, a Master and three auxiliary outputs which are marked by the numbers "1," "2" and "3" on the dashboard.

You can designate every band to any of the plugin's outputs, allowing greater flexibility, from the typical three-band DJ equalizer to a multi-output crossover that can be used to build custom multiband compressors.

With the help of this program, several tests were made, such as multi output routing in: Ableton Live, Cockos Reaper, Motu Digital Performer and Avid Protools.

For all the other hosts you can use a plugin host such as DDMF Metaplugin.

Several noteworthy features is the 64bit compatibility for both Mac and Windows and the VST2.4 and VST3 format audio units.
