HTMeLd is an application that was designed specifically in order to provide users with means to accelerate website handling and behavior, by addressing the media issues detailed above. It will basically “meld” the content such as images, style sheets, or scripts into the HTML pages directly.

By employing this technique, the application manages to reduce the number of file requests that need to be performed, this way increasing responsiveness and improving various metrics surrounding the website, such as the Google Page Experience score.

The main working principle behind the application’s functionality revolves around using an input and output directory for the website media, which is then melded and minified into the HTML pages, which will basically be embedded with the corresponding content, styles, and scripts.
