MailNavigator is a lightweight Windows application whose purpose is to help you retrieve information from various email programs.

It supports different email clients, such as Windows Live Mail, MS Outlook, Outlook Express, MS Mail, MS News, Mozilla Thunderbird, Opera Mail, The Bat!, Eudora, Forte Agent, Pegasus Mail, and Eserv Mail Server.

MailNavigator does not excel in the visual department because the GUI does not look intuitive. You can access a help manual in case you want to find out more about the application’s features.

Mail archives are automatically identified when you load the program. You may perform searches throughout the information and remember the last 100 executed searches.

MailNavigator gives you the possibility to carry out search tasks using standard operators (OR, AND, NOT, NEAR) and look for a whole word or only a part of it. Messages can be previewed directly in the main window.

You can work with various filters, such as message text, sender/recipient, email, organization, newsgroup, date, and identical messages. What’ more, you can sort data using criteria like subject, date, organization and sender.

The application offers you freedom to subscribe to newsgroups, keep track of users with the aid of a simple address book where you can store details about the name, phone number, email address and personal note, delete identical messages, print the information, as well as make file associations for MBX, MBA, DBX, MSB, and EML files.

To sum things up, MailNavigator accommodates several useful features for helping you search for information in mailboxes. On the downside, the GUI looks difficult to decode so you may need to invest some extra time in the configuration process.
