Minos Album is a program designed to help you quickly create and publish 3D page-flipping albums. It can be handled by users of any level of experience.

The interface of the application is plain and uncomplicated; you can get started by importing images into the file list by using either the file browser or 'drag and drop' method.

If you are satisfied with the default settings, then you can immediately create an album by specifying its target folder, after which you can publish it online.

Otherwise, you can insert an alpha page into the album, build a single animation file, change the default index page name and background color, as well as make Minos Album tear off pages and replace the page file's path.

Skilled users are free to fiddle with advanced options when it comes to the page size, auto run mode, music, control panel, thumbnails, automatic HTML, and icons, just to name a few. All settings can be saved as default for editing future projects.

Minos Album offers support for multiple languages, has a good response time to key strokes and mouse commands, quickly builds an album, and runs on a moderate quantity of CPU and system memory. We have not experienced any problems during our testing; Minos Album did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. There's also a help file available. On the other hand, the interface needs some major improvements in the visual department. Plus, you cannot preview the project before creating the album.

To sum it up, Minos Album is a neat application you can use to bundle your entire picture collection into a fun, animated album. You can publish it to your own website in the end, or simply build it as a stand-alone EXE application.
