MP3jam is a modern and versatile application that allows you to search for your favorite music and download it onto your desktop, so you can listen to it in offline mode.

Despite rising in a market full of such software, MP3jam brings a different approach through superior download speeds and ease of use. It also features a built-in audio player that can play the music prior to the download process.

MP3jam sports a streamlined interface that makes working with it comfortable and easy. If don’t fancy its default pinkish appearance, you can switch to a different color scheme using the other two available themes.

What makes the application stands out is the way it handles your searches and the download process altogether. If your search term is an artist, then it will retrieve all the available albums, allowing you to download the whole series of songs, as well as individually.

If your search includes the name of a song, the application complies, but in addition to providing individual download links, it also provides the option to grab the entire album.

The download progress is shown in the lower side of the main window, where you’ll also find information about the number of songs you have left in the free plan. Unlimited access is available for a fee, of course.

In the History section, you’ll find all of the songs you’ve downloaded so far, with the possibility to play them using the built-in audio player that sports controls such as play, pause, resume and a volume adjuster.

To sum it up, MP3jam is easy to use and behaves quite nicely, but the free plan puts a limit on the number of downloads you can perform, which may be a deal breaker for many users.
