MPDN - Media Player .NET is a reliable program designed to render high quality videos and audio files, while allowing you to create playlists. The utility is designed to support Direct3D custom renderer engine via Pixel Shader and allows you to select between several editions of the DirectX renderer.

MPDN - Media Player .NET features vast capabilities when it comes to playing large, high quality files, such as 1080p and other types of graphics. The application supports DirectX 9.0, DirectX 10, DirectX 11 rendering engines and allows you to easily switch between them at any time. The rendering process requires a capable GPU hardware configuration, for optimal results.

The application requires configuration prior to being used and allows you to control a multitude of aspects of the rendering process. The Options window offers you access to configuring extensions, video, audio and subtitles filters or video renderer features. You may change the Presentation API, as well as the Direct3D back buffer sizes.

MPDN - Media Player .NET requires additional rendering scripts, which you need to load before configuring them. You may also change dithering options and activate the Fluid Motion filter.

Through the Pixel Shader technology, MPDN - Media Player .NET allows you to apply one of the available scaling algorithms: nearest neighbor, bilinear, softcubic, bicubic, Lanczos, spline, Jinc and linear light via Render Script. You may also load custom scalers, from other sources.

The Render Script package can be used in order to add post processing pixel shader files and can be configured to act like legacy pre/post processing filter. The software also supports a large range of player extensions, from compiled assemblies or plain Csharp text files.

Once configured to play the desired video format, MPDN - Media Player .NET allows you to enjoy a high quality image and sound, for your video. Additionally, subtitles are supported and you may manually choose the filters to be applied for rendering them: DirectVobSub (the default option) or XySubFilters.

MPDN - Media Player .NET also comes in the installer version, which includes the required filters and codecs. It is a rather convenient solution since you do not need to manually configure all the codecs, instead they are integrated in the installation process.
