XXI century is knocking at the door and the cowboy-era is dead and gone. Now state-of-the-art technology performs most of the human's physical work. But hereditary blacksmith Bill Smith, whose father, grandfather and great-grandfather were smiths, couldn't leave his labour of love - the work he was taught since childhood and used to earn money once.
Now he calmly and steadily lives his last years in the wide spread of one of the North American prairies, in his blacksmith's shop with a traditional sign "Blacksmith", taking small orders from the local residents from time to time.
