Page Wonder is a small software application whose purpose is to help you create your own business cards, menus, and flyers. It comes packed with several editing tools which allow you to personalize the designs using custom images, rich text boxes, shapes, and 3D text effects.
The user interface does not look very intuitive so you may need extra time in order to decode the configuration settings. A help manual is not included in the package so you need to experiment with the dedicated parameters in order to understand how it works.
The program keeps a list with all objects embedded in the current project and allows you to preview the final results in a dedicated panel. A multi-tabbed environment is implemented for helping you work on different projects at the same time and easily switch between them.
Page Wonder gives you the possibility to add user-defined text in boxes, insert rich text and 3D text, as well as embed pictures (e.g. BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG) from your personal collection. In addition, you are allowed to add triangles and rectangles, as well as grids.
Drag-and-drop actions can be employed for moving objects from one position to another. You may also resize objects, cut, copy, paste, or delete them, and flip them horizontally or vertically. The text can be customized in terms of font, size, color, and alignment.
Other important tweaking parameters worth being mentioned enable you to change the color of the objects, make all items the same size, as well as bring components to the front or send them to the back.
The application lets you export the designs to BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, WMF, EMF, TIFF, ICO, or EXIF file format, print the information, and save the current project to a file to your computer so you can upload it for future adjustments. Tests have shown that Page Wonder delivers good output results. It eats up a moderate amount of CPU and memory resources.
All things considered, Page Wonder accommodates several handy editing utilities for helping you design custom business cards but it still needs a GUI facelift in order to make the entire process more intuitive.
