Registry Doctor is a straightforward program that you can use to scan your computer for any registry errors and fix them in order to boost the performance of your system.

The interface of the application is plain and simple to navigate through. So, Registry Doctor can look into any issues concerning the ActiveX, OLE, COM, Run, fonts and uninstall sections, invalid file associations, application paths, and others.

Once results are displayed, you can check out the path, key and invalid value of each registry item. Simply select the ones that you want to fix and let Registry Doctor take care of the rest.

In addition, the program automatically creates backups before making any changes to the Windows registry. But you can also use the undo function and perform a defrag job on the registry, in order to reduce the space it occupies on the hard drive.

The application can take a very long time to finish analyzing the system but it uses a very low amount of system resources. No errors have occurred during our tests and Registry Doctor has a very good response time.

On the other hand, the program crashed a couple of times after we canceled the scanning job. Plus, there is no option to select or deselect all items in the "Options" area and the interface is outdated. Even so, we recommend you test Registry Doctor for yourself.
