River Past Crazi Video Pro is an application that allows you to prepare audio and video files (e.g. 3GP, AVI, ASF, AAC, FLAC, MKV) for Apple TV, BlackBerry, iPod, iPad, Wii and Zune, among other devices.

The interface of the program is plain and simple to navigate through. Media files can be imported into the file queue by using either the file browser, folder view or "drag and drop" method. It is possible to convert multiple items at the same time.

The file list allows you to find out the initial and output name and format, duration, audio and video properties, estimated size and status of each media file. If you prefer the default settings, then you can simply specify the output destination and format, in order to proceed with the encoding procedure.

Otherwise, you can change the audio and video profile, along with maximum audio bit rate and video quality. Furthermore, you can preview media files in an external media player, trim them by marking the start and end position or time values, remove an item from the list or clear the entire file queue, as well as add files to iTunes for syncing.

The video conversion tool requires a high amount of system resources to complete a job in reasonable time. It is very responsive and includes a help file. No error dialogs have popped up throughout our testing and River Past Crazi Video Pro did not freeze or crash. However, the output videos have a poor image and sound quality. Plus, you cannot select the number of CPU cores to be used or set River Past Crazi Video Pro to turn off the computer when the tasks are done. The app has not received updates for quite some time.
