You don't have to be a social media manager to know that most browsers are utterly incapable of simultaneously handling multiple active sessions of the same service.

Meet SessionBox, a lightweight and useful Google Chrome extension that offers you an efficient way to log into multiple accounts on the same web service, without having to resort to other browsers or the "incognito" session trick.

The extensions can be effortlessly installed from the Chrome Web Store, it lives right next to Chrome's address bar, and it requires you to create a SessionBox cloud account to get started.

Before we go even further into detail, you should know that this extension features client side-encryption, so there's no need to worry too much about possible hijackings from the services running in your other tabs that are not managed by SessionBox.

Start off by logging in on a specific platform with one of your accounts. The extension automatically assists you towards saving a new session. For better visual orientation, a small colored dot is assigned to the active sessions tab. Once the session has been saved, it can be accessed and managed from SessionBox's Home section, by clicking its icon.

From this point onwards, you can add new sessions for the website you are currently visiting with just a simple click on the "plus" button. Conveniently, the extension allows you to organize your session in groups.

With that in mind, you can sort your entries by session, website, or group. There's also a Recent menu, accessible by clicking the Hamburger-like button from the compact UI, that should make recurring tasks a bit easier for you.

Without a doubt, SessionBox is a very efficient Chrome extension. It's easy to install, it takes your privacy quite seriously, it's able to sync your multi-sessions to all your devices, and once you get used to it, you might even deem it intuitive.

There is, however, a small issue. While typical users who only work with 2-3 sessions might be perfectly fine with its looks and workflow, users who work with more than 5 or 6 multiple active sessions per site, will surely want a bigger or even a resizable UI and possibly a few more customization options.
