SXDrive is a user-friendly and effective piece of software functioning as a desktop client for Skylable SX cluster, allowing you to access data from your server whenever you want and synchronize directories between your PC and the cloud.

Subsequent to the installation process of the application, it can be launched, automatically retreating to the notification area, in order to interfere as little as possible with your regular activity.

To work with Skylable SX cluster, firstly you will need to configure it to connect to your SX server and your data cluster. This can be done by accessing the ‘Settings’ option from the system tray menu, selecting the ‘Account’ tab.

The simple way of configuring your connection would be to drag and drop the corresponding .CONFIG file onto the indicated region in the ‘Settings’ window. However, if you do not have one, you can do it manually.

You can either ‘Use Company Credentials’ and input the server, login and password, as well as the current device’s name, or you can enter the ‘Cluster Settings’ (‘Cluster Name’, ‘Volume Name’ and ‘Secret Key’. You can also specify the ‘Location’ of the computer folder you wish to use for synchronizing data.

The ‘Advanced Options’ section allows you to activate SSL, inputting the initial IP address and the port number. Clicking the ‘OK’ button will apply your configuration preferences and connect you to the data cloud, where you will be able to access all the files you have stored on it and synchronize them with a local folder, having the possibility of excluding certain directories from the process.

From the system tray menu you can also open the local folder with a click, view the connected volumes and the last files that were processed.
