Total MP3 Converter is a tool that you can use to encode audio tracks of various formats (including WMA, WAV, OGG, AAC and FLAC) to the MP3 format, supported by most media players.

The interface of the application is user-friendly. You can use the Explorer-based layout to locate and select audio tracks for conversion. Batch processing is supported.

So, all you have to do is select the destination folder and proceed with the conversion process.

But you can also trim a track by marking its start and end point, and modify audio settings when it comes to the sample frequency rate, channels and bit rate.

Furthermore, you can set an output directory as default, preview clips and adjust the volume, check files by mask, restore the last selection, change the interface language and refresh the current list, as well as edit the current song information regarding the title, artist, comment, album, year and genre.

The audio conversion program runs on a moderate amount of system resources, supports command-line parameters and quickly finishes an encoding job while preserving a very good image and sound quality. Total MP3 Converter did not freeze or crash during our tests. However, it failed to encode a WAV file to MP3. There is no help file available except for a list of command-line parameters.

All in all, Total MP3 Converter is a pretty good software for MP3 encoding tasks and we strongly recommend it to all user levels.
