Visual Video Converter is an application that can encode video files to several media formats, including AVI, ASF, FLV, MP3 and WAV.

The user interface of the tool is easy to navigate through, thanks to the Explorer-based layout. So, you can import a file by using the "drag and drop" method (batch processing is supported as well).

You can view file properties (e.g. format name, file size, metadata), capture video from an external device, as well as convert to video, audio or image. Plus, you can switch to batch converting mode.

When it comes to video settings, you can set the format, width and height, volume adjustment, bitrate, frame rate, aspect ratio, and optionally loop the video.

In matter of audio options, you can configure the codec, frames, sample frequency rate, bitrate and channels. But you can also set the frames per seconds, size and format, in case of images.

The batch converter allows you to encode or join multiple files at once, set the audio or video output format, adjust the volume, and more.

Visual Video Converter uses a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and has a well-drawn help file. Furthermore, it manages to quickly convert a while, while preserving a good image and sound quality. No errors have popped up during our tests, but the application doesn't bring anything new to the table. Even so, we strongly recommend it to all users.
