YASA Video Converter is an application that you can use to encode video files of various formats (e.g. AVI, WMV, MOV, 3GP) to the MPEG format.
The interface of the program is simplistic and intuitive. You can import media files into the list by using either the file browser or the "drag and drop" method. Batch conversion is possible.
In the movie list you can check out the name, type, target, duration, size, output file and status of each video. After you specify the output format and destination, you can proceed with the encoding task.
Additionally, you can preview clips and trim them by marking the start and end point, edit metadata (e.g. title, author, comment), as well as limit the file size, change the interface skin and language, and set the default output directory.
But you can also make audio and video adjustments when it comes to the bit rate, cropping, frame rate and size, aspect ratio, buffer size, quality, sample frequency rate, channels, volume, codecs and others.
The video conversion program takes up a moderate amount of system resources, includes a well-drawn help file with snapshots for novices quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality. We haven't come across any issues during our tests. Putting aside the slightly outdated interface, we strongly recommend YASA Video Converter to all users.
