The Internet is filled with all sort of applications and programs that you could use in order to manage your audio files and create new tracks.

The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a really intuitive and colorful graphical interface, with plenty of instructions on how to create music.

Z-Maestro lets you compose and mix music or other audio files. It's compatible with synthesized instruments and raw audio data/

Z-Maestro allows you to import various files and it supports mp3, wav, wma, wmv, ogg-vorbis or MIDI. You can also export files in multiple formats and it works with ZMM or ZMP files. It is very easy to get started with Z-Maestro.

Whether you are a seasoned composer or have never picked up an instrument before, Z-Maestro has tools to make your creative visions a reality. You will be required to create new projects.

Once you have created a new project, you will want to add parts. To start recording, either from an external MIDI instrument or from your computer keyboard, click the record button on an instrumental (green) track.

Tracks, like parts, are basic building blocks in Z-Maestro. Each track holds parts and has settings such as volume and pan. On instrument tracks, you can set the instrument by clicking the little gear icon on the mini-toolbar under the track name.

Audio tracks can have one or more "live" effects applied. These effects are non-destructable, so the original audio parts are preserved. Z-Maestro contains a number of audio effects. These audio effects can be separated into two categories: live and non-live.
