ZC Video DVD Creator is a simple-to-use application which lets you follow some simple steps in order to convert video files to DVDs.
The interface of the program is very plain and simple to follow. Video clips can be imported into the queue by using only the file browser, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch conversion is possible.
In the list you can check out the name, information (e.g. dimension, duration, frame rate) and status of each video.
So, all you have to do is specify the output destination and proceed with the encoding process. Optionally, you can enable ZC Video DVD Creator to create the DVD folder on the hard drive, instead of disc.
Additionally, you can configure output settings when it comes to the aspect ratio, TV system, DVD recorder, speed and DVD label, as well as preview videos and enable the program to automatically turn off the computer once all tasks are done.
The application requires a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, quickly finishes a conversion task and manages to generally keep a good image and sound quality. We haven't come across any issues during our tests, since ZC Video DVD Creator did not freeze, crash or display errors.
On the other hand, the lack of a help file is a huge disappointment for novices. Also, ZC Video DVD Creator almost completely ruined the image quality of a FLV file after conversion. Plus, you cannot set up DVD menus and captions. But, all in all, ZC Video DVD Creator is a pretty good application for transforming videos to DVDs and we strongly recommend it to all users.
