eMail Extractor is an intuitive and lightweight application that allows users to extract email addresses from a selected location. The program creates a list with the valid addresses found in text files, websites or folders.

It sports a simple and clean interface that gives users the possibility of adding items to the list by either using the “drag and drop” support or the built-in browse button. Once you have done so, the application automatically starts the scanning procedure.

At the end of the task it displays the numbers of valid and invalid email addresses as well as the duplicate ones. Plus, it saves the addresses to a file, provided that you have specified the saving directory and file name.

Other configurable settings allow you to mark numeric addresses and the ones that contain too many characters as "bad." What’s more, you can customize the searching process for valid email addresses by setting up rules for marking the addresses as "bad" or "valid" (e.g. "contain," "doesn’t contain," "is equal to," "starts with").

The generated results can be merged to a single output file, but you can also make the program create files with the duplicate and invalid addresses and include detailed information. When it comes to exporting options you can select from the following formats: plain text, XLS or vCard.

It is important to mention that hotkeys are also available for a better control of the entire process, but they cannot be reassigned. During our testing we have noticed that the program extracts emails from the selected URLs or files quickly and without errors.

All things considered, eMail Extractor packs a user-friendly environment and only a few features for helping you extract and check the validity of email addresses.
