007 DVD Maker is a program that you can use to create and burn video discs, as well as to convert files to MPEG1, MPEG2, DVD, SCVD and VCD clips.

The interface of the tool is plain and simple to work with. So, you can create a DVD, VCD or SVCD video by importing files via the file browser ('drag and drop' is not supported). Working with multiple items at the same time is possible.

The file queue displays the location, size, resolution and duration of each entry. You can configure  output settings when it comes to the TV type and aspect ratio.

But you can also preview clips in a small, built-in media player and capture frames, as well as arrange items in the list and remove the ones you don't want anymore.

In the following step, you can change the default temporary working folder and set the app to delete temp files when the job is done. Plus, you can select the DVD burner and write speed, as well as edit the label for the disk and copy the log to the Clipboard.

The process for the video burner and converter is similar. 007 DVD Maker includes a help file and requires a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, in order to finish a task briefly. We have not come across any issues during our tests. The output videos have a fair image and sound quality after conversion. On the downside, you cannot customize the CPU core number in use.
