ALO RM to MP3 Converter is a conversion tool designed for several audio files. Its user interface is easy to navigate through, since there are no advanced features available. So, novices should not experience any kind of difficulties.

We tested this product on Windows 7. However, if you do not run this program in compatibility mode for a previous Windows version, converting a RM file to anything else will not work.

Adding a file by using the drag and drop method does not work in our case, and the trial version unfortunately does not support batch conversions.

Whether you have run the software in compatibility mode for Windows 7 or an earlier version, converting longer AVI files does not work (e.g. a 20-minute movie), but the "Conversion is completed" window appears although nothing happens in the progress bar. In the case of one AVI that received this error, the program still placed empty output files on our hard drive.

Furthermore, the program sometimes refuses to convert MP3 files (to any format), but this randomly happens. Right before the progress bar is filled, an error pops up saying "Output file is in use by some other application".

Otherwise, conversions are done perfectly. The time they take depend on size and format type, so it varies from several seconds to several minutes. Also, you can select output file options, such as bitrate, frequency, channels and quality.

The bottom line is that ALO RM to MP3 Converter could be a great audio converting tool. It has a well-developed help file that contains snapshot, but it uses a significant amount of system memory. It only needs some debugging.
