As its title implies, AVOne iPod Video Converter allows you to encode video clips to the format supported by iPod devices, namely MP4. It can be easily handled by all user levels.

The interface of the program is plain and simple to navigate through. Video clips can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed.

In the queue you can check out the source path and duration of each video. So, all you have to do is establish the destination folder and iPod profile, in order to proceed with the encoding job.

Furthermore, you can change audio and video parameters when it comes to the codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, sample frequency rate and channel mode. Settings can be saved to a new profile or restored to their default values. Plus, you can merge videos.

The video encoding software runs on a low amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a good image and sound quality in the output videos. No errors have occurred during our tests and AVOne iPod Video Converter did not freeze or crash. Unfortunately, there is no help file available and the interface is outdated. Nevertheless, we strongly recommend this tool to all users.
