Bestel FLV to DVD Creator is an application with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to turn FLV files into DVD videos. It can be handled by users of any experience level.

The interface of the program is plain and simple to work with. Videos can be imported into the file queue by using only the file browser because the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Processing multiple entries at the same time is possible.

In the file list you can check out the source path and duration of each video. If you want to leave the default settings unaltered, then you can initialize the conversion procedure by simply selecting the burning option (burn the DVD layout to the hard disk, burn a DVD disc from an existing DVD layout, burn video to disc).

Otherwise, you can configure audio and video parameters when it comes to the TV type, aspect ratio, codec and volume. Plus, you can edit the DVD label and select the DVD recoder, remove an item from the list or clear the entire file queue, as well as set Bestel FLV to DVD Creator to eject the DVD disc or  to turn off the computer after encoding.

The DVD processing tool needs a moderate amount of system memory and CPU, in order to complete a task in reasonable time. It includes a help file and is very responsive. We have not come across any errors during our tests and Bestel FLV to DVD Creator did not freeze or crash.

On the downside, you cannot set the tool to open the output directory after conversion, preview videos in a built-in media player or specify the thread priority. The interface needs a lot of work as well but we must take into account the fact that Bestel FLV to DVD Creator has not received recent updates.
