Birds Screensaver features a slideshow of animated birds flying across the screen when your computer is idle. As any screensaver, once activated, it automatically starts when your system is idle for more than the specified number of minutes. The purpose of the screensaver is to hide the contents of the screen and help you save power.

Birds Screensaver is a simple to use application which allows you to personalize the desktop options. Thus, you may activate it by selecting the dedicated entry in the screensaver list, then customize its settings.

The application allows you to control the display duration of each animated figure in the slideshow, as well as set the order of the sequence. Thus, the images can be displayed in the preset order, randomly or in shuffle mode. You may enable the image resizing, in order for all the slides to fit the screen.

The transition from one image to another can be customized by applying effects, such as page flip, unfolding, or lines. Additionally, a slide can also pan and zoom or rotate during its display time.

The screensaver can be accompanied by a custom soundtrack. You may create and load your personal playlist, using songs stored on your computer. The software features an audio player which allows you to preview the songs before saving the playlist and rendering order options. The list can be repeated when it reaches the last song and the order can be shuffled.

You may enable multi-monitor support, in case you own such a configuration, as well as set the termination triggers. The screensaver can automatically close when you move the mouse, click a button, press a key or touch the Esc key.

Birds Screensaver also features a clock and a calendar, which render the information regarding system time or date. They can be displayed or hidden, according to our preferences, from the Features tab in the application’s Settings window. If displayed they can indicate the date and time even if the computer is idle.
