As the name implies, Flash Screensaver Maker is a simple-to-use program which allows you to create screensavers from Flash Video files (SWF). It can be easily figured out, even by inexperienced users.

The interface of the application is based on a standard window with an uncomplicated layout. So, you can add Flash files from the hard drive or from URL.

All you have to do is specify the output directory and file type (SCR or EXE), in order to proceed with the conversion procedure by using the default settings.

Experienced users are free to tinker with some options concerning the screensaver (e.g. wake up on mouse or keystroke exit, direct exit), clip (e.g. show menu and mouse cursor) and creator information (e.g. company, home page), as well as preview the screensaver and reset its position on the screen by using a slider.

The application runs on a pretty high amount of CPU and system memory, considering its limited features. It has a good response time and quickly finishes a task without freezing, crashing or popping up error notifications; we have not experienced any issues in our testing. However, Flash Screensaver Maker needs some serious improvements in the visual department of the interface.
