KingConvert Samsung MP4 Player Video Converter is a simple-to-use software utility that, as the name suggests, helps you prepare media for playback on Samsung MP4 Playe, by turning it into MP4 (H.264, MPEG-4), RM, WMV or AVI video clips. It can also extract the audio stream and save it to AAC or MP3 format.

The setup procedure does not take a long time to finish. As far as the GUI is concerned, KingConvert Samsung MP4 Player Video Converter adopts a regular window with a well-organized structure, where media items can be added to the task list using either the file browser, folder view or drag-and-drop support.

Batch processing is possible, which means you can work with multiple items at the same time to reduce overall task duration.

Apart from pointing out the saving directory and format, it is possible to preview clips in a small, built-in media player and capture frames, view file properties, modify the default snapshot folder, as well as ask the tool to minimize to the system tray area and to check for newer versions automatically.

In addition, you can make it run in the background and automatically delete any unfinished files, specify the number of maximum simultaneous running tasks and post-task action (e.g. exit, power of PC), as well as switch to another UI language and skin. Hotkeys are supported.

Unfortunately, KingConvert Samsung MP4 Player Video Converter takes a very long time to finish conversion jobs, during which it uses significant amounts of CPU and RAM. No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and it did not hang or crash. However, the quality of the output videos was mediocre at best in our case. These downsides clearly do not account for the app's price. We must also take into consideration that it has not been updated for a while, though.
