While most of us appreciate the beauty of nature, we don’t often have time to step out and take a walk in the park. A screensaver doesn’t come close to the real thing, but it can bring a bit of life to your desktop.

Nature 3D Screensaver is, as its name suggests, a screensaver that displays various nature-themed 3D scenes. However, you also have the option of using it as an animated wallpaper.

You can get a pretty good idea of what the screensaver is like by looking at the published screenshots, but they don’t tell the whole story. Pretty much everything in these scenes is animated, and there are sound effects and music to go with them.

From a distance, everything looks great, but once you get a bit closer you realize that the models and textures aren’t all that detailed. However, we can understand the need to reduce performance impact.

If you wish, you can have the software play these animations on your desktop, replacing your current wallpaper. Everything can be controlled from the system tray, and the app can be run at system startup automatically.

Users have the option of customizing the quality of the textures and rendered water, and you can also set the delay of animated and stationary cameras, as well as disable any of them altogether.

Unfortunately, though, the default music cannot be replaced with tracks loaded by the user, although you can disable the soundtrack or just alter its volume.

All in all, Nature 3D Screensaver is an interesting option for users who need a fresh screensaver or animated wallpaper, and it offers quite a few customization options. In the end, you can just give it a try and see for yourself if the quality of the screensaver is up to par.
