Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper is an application designed to help you convert Blu-ray discs and DVDs to multiple video formats, including MP4, AVI and MKV. The tool can also extract the audio stream and transform it into MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and others.

It is also possible to prepare videos for specific devices, such as iPod, iPhone, BlackBerry, Zune and Xbox 360.

The program is packed in a user-friendly interface where importing DVDs, Blu-rays, ISO or IFO files can be done via the file browser, folder tree or "drag and drop" method.

The file queue provides specific information about each entry and this includes the initial name, duration, trimmed length (if you want to split clips) and destination name.

Otherwise, you can tinker with the audio and video settings regarding the codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, sample rate and number of channels. Options can be saved to a new profile or restored to default.

Additionally, you can copy the entire disc, select the angle, subtitle language and audio track, preview clips and capture frames (as JPG, PNG, TIFF or BMP), as well as merge videos or split them by time, size or file count.

Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper offers the possibility to edit the selected tasks; so, you can crop videos and trim them by marking the start and end position or time, as well as replace or remove the audio stream. Moreover, you can make image adjustments (e.g. brightness, contrast), apply effects (e.g. aged film, invert) and add watermarks (image or video). During the conversion procedure, you can set the tool to shut down the computer when all tasks are done.

The program uses a high amount of system resources and converts a video in short time. The output videos have a good image and sound quality. We have not encountered any error dialogs during our tests and Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper did not freeze or crash. Keyboard shortcuts and multiple languages are supported.
