PDF Conversion Series - PDF2Word is a program with a pretty self-explanatory name - it allows you to turn PDF files into the RTF format supported by Microsoft Word. Its features are easy to figure out.

The interface of the application is clean and pretty intuitive. Importing items into the file list can be done with the help of either the file browser or folder view (the 'drag and drop' method is not supported). Processing multiple items simultaneously is possible.

In the file queue you can check out the name, size, date of creation, along with the owner and user password for each item. If you are satisfied with the default settings, then you can immediately proceed with the conversion procedure.

Experienced users are free to tinker with the output options when it comes to the page range and zoom, space between the characters, text box, automatic space processing and graphics (e.g. delete all graphics and pictures).

The PDF processing program needs a low amount of CPU and system memory to work properly and to finish a task briefly. It has a good response time, includes a help file and delivers documents with a good quality regarding the text layout.

However, PDF Conversion Series - PDF2Word was unsuccessful in its attempt to convert graphics and pictures during our tests. Plus, you cannot change the default output directory; files are automatically created in the same location as the source items. But we must take into account the fact that PDF Conversion Series – PDF2Word has not been updated for a long time.
