RadioLogger is a software application specialized in recording radio station broadcast on your computer. Its purpose is to offer a simple yet efficient way for helping you record and archive 24 hours a day or only at specified time intervals.

You are welcomed by a multi-tabbed layout that provides quick access to the Recording and Archive panels. Additionally, the tool displays information about the codec used for storing the recording, program’s status (recording, stopped), recorded time, and others.

The interface is quite straightforward, and you may check out the help manual for extra information about each dedicated parameter.

The recording panel is highly intuitive and allows you to schedule the entire process on the fly. The tool displays all days of the current week and hours for each day, and gives you the possibility to schedule a new recording session by simply performing a double-click mouse operation on the corresponding block.

Scheduled tasks are automatically colored green, and you may start or stop the recording process or activate the automatic mode.

The Archive tab lists all recorded files and provides additional information about each one, such as start and end time, length, filename, and size. Additionally, you are allowed to listen to any of the recorded files, play, pause, or stop the current audio selection, and seek for a position in the audio streams.

RadioLogger gives you the possibility to select the driver and device or network stream (URL) used for recording, pick the output format (MP3, OGG, AAC), alter the sample rate, as well as choose the audio channels (mono or stereo) and playback device.

What’s more, you are allowed to set up file naming rules, specify the saving directory, automatically increment numbers for each filename, store the recorded files for a user-defined number of days, split the recordings by time segments (custom number of minutes), and make the program run at Windows startup.

All in all, RadioLogger proves to be a reliable piece of software that comprises a handy suite of dedicated parameters. The intuitive layout makes it ideal for rookies and professionals alike.
