River Past Audio Converter Pro is a software which enables you to encode media files to audio tracks of multiple extensions, including WAV, FLAC, MP3, MKA and OGG.

The interface of the program is based on a standard window in which you can import files by using the treeview or file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. Batch processing is allowed.

In the queue you can view the initial and new format, duration, audio settings, estimated size and status of each file. So, after you establish the output directory and file type, you can proceed with the encoding job.

Furthermore, you can modify audio settings when it comes to the sample frequency rate, bits per sample, channel mode, bit rate and others, as well as view file properties, add a DVD, use the undo and redo functions, and others.

The simplistic application quickly finishes a task while using a moderate amount of system resources. It has a good response time and delivers a fair sound quality in the output audio tracks (but it's no excellent). We haven't come across any issues during our tests. There's also a well-written help file with snapshots that you can look into. Apart from the outdated interface, we recommend River Past Audio Converter Pro to all users.
