RM to VCD SVCD DVD in a simple-to-use application which allows you to convert video clips from the RM and RMVB format to MPEG, AVI, MP4 and WMV.

The interface of the program is plain and simple. Video clips can be imported into the list via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported. Batch processing is allowed.

In the queue you can view the source path, size, start and end time, as well as output aspect ratio of each file.

So, after you specify the output directory and extension, you can proceed with the encoding process.

In addition, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the frame rate, size, compressor, bit rate, channels, sample frequency rate, and others. During conversion, you can enable the tool to automatically turn off the computer after the job is done.

But you can also preview videos in a built-in media player and cut them by marking the start and end time, merge clips, specify the default aspect ratio, use a logo image, adjust the transparency color, and more. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time.

The video conversion software takes up a moderate amount of system resources, includes a step-by-step tutorial with snapshots for beginners, quickly finishes a task and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests.

The image quality is preserved at a very good quality. However, the sound was ruined in all of our test cases (it seems that RM to VCD SVCD DVD has some compatibility issues with Windows 7). We suggest you look for something more powerful than this app.
