There's nothing that strike's fear into someone's heart than the raw fury of Mother Nature, and that is exactly the feeling that SeaStorm 3D Screensaver wants to capitalize on.

It brings your desktop to life with the help of a realistic-looking seastorm that is bound to make you feel just how powerful the raging tides can be.

The app itself is nicely designed, as all aspects, both from a graphics and an audio standpoint, are neat looking, even by today's standards. The waves move in a fluid yet viscous manner, while the waterspout looks especially realistic thanks to the particle effects that envelope it.

The sky is also worth mentioning since it showed no signs of pixelation, even when the app was tested on a 1920x1080 screen. The soundtrack is the final piece that completes the overall feel of the screensaver, as the sound of the waves and wind may send chills down your spine, especially if you're in a dark room or wearing headphones.

Despite the nice graphics, the app did not show any issues during testing, neither low FPS values nor occasional performance spikes.

However, for those of you that are still using older computer systems, it is not excluded that you will have the same experience. Unfortunately, aside from the screen resolution, there isn't much you can change in the screensaver manager to improve your overall experience.

One thing worth mentioning is that if you try running the app on a resolution that is much lower than your actual screen size, you may get an error message along with a software crash.

SeaStorm 3D Screensaver manages to emulate the experience of being in the middle of the sea during inhospitable weather, making this a good addition to any thrill seeker's digital library.
