Task Minder is a simple-to-use application that enables you to create a list with simple tasks, in order to keep track of important information, such as birthday parties, starting vacation dates, meetings and appointments.

It doesn't include complicated options or configuration settings, making it accessible to all types of users, even those less experienced with such tools.

The setup operation is speedy and shouldn't impose any difficulties, since there are no unfamiliar buttons or third-party components bundled.

When it comes to the interface, Task Minder adopts a rudimentary window with a simple appearance, making it seem like the developer didn't have the opportunity to fine-tune it.

The title bar shows the current time and date. New tasks can be added to the list by typing or pasting text from the Clipboard, and clicking a button to complete the process. It's possible to add as many tasks as you want, as well as to mark them as completed by moving them to another list.

Worth noting is that Task Minder has a vertical progress bar that gets filled every time you mark a task as done. When this becomes full, all tasks from the completed list are cleared without confirmation.

Apart from the fact that you can enable or disable program sounds from the main menu, there are no other notable options provided by this app. It creates some files in the installed directory, presumably to keep records of the tasks, but it's not explicit about the method of file access.

It left a small footprint on the computer's performance in our tests, thanks to the fact that it required a low amount of CPU and RAM to function normally. The application was stable throughout its runtime, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt errors.

On the other hand, Task Minder has a light set of features and doesn't make room for customization to be considered a serious notetaking utility. On top of that, the interface needs major improvements in the graphical department.

We are also keeping in mind that the project hasn't received updates for a long time. Otherwise, it offers a straightforward method for creating simple tasks and marking complete ones.
