Zebra Total Video Converter is an application that enables you to turn audio and video files into FLV, MP4, AVI, 3GP and others.

But it can also prepare items for iPod, PSP and DVD videos, as well as store audio tracks as MP3, WAV and WMA, among others.

The interface of the tool is plain and easy to work with. Media files can be imported via the file browser, since the "drag and drop" method is unsupported. It is possible to process multiple items in batch mode.

The file queue provides the initial and output name and format, duration, size, status, frames per second, current time and size of each entry. If you are satisfied with the default settings, then you can immediately start the conversion process after specifying the output directory and format.

Otherwise, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the frame rate, aspect ratio, TV system type, encoder, bit rate, frame rate, frequency, channel mode and volume level. Unfortunately, you cannot save settings to profiles or reset them to default.

Additionally, you can crop and pad videos, enable hooks (video input or output, audio), as well as apply filters (e.g. flip, deinterlace) and make image adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation).

Furthermore, you can preview clips in a built-in media player and trim them by marking the start and end position, set Zebra Total Video Converter to overwrite existing files, as well as specify the thread mode and priority, along with the log level.

The video converter uses a moderate-to-high amount of system resources to finish a task in reasonable time. It includes a help file and delivers videos with a good image and sound quality. We have not come across any errors throughout our testing and Zebra Total Video Converter did not freeze or crash.

On the downside, you cannot set Zebra Total Video Converter to automatically turn off the computer or to open the output directory after encoding.
