A-one PSP Video Converter is a program with a title that pretty much describes its purpose - it allows you to encode video files to the format supported by PSP devices, namely MP4.

The interface of the software is clean and pretty intuitive. Video clips can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported.

In the queue you can read the source and output name and format, start and end time, along with status of each file. So, all you have to do is specify the output destination and start the encoding process.

Moreover, you can change audio and video preferences when it comes to the type, size, quality, frame rate, aspect ratio, channel mode, sample frequency rate and volume.

But you can also preview clips in a small, built-in media player and cut them by marking the start and end position, remove an item from the list or clear the entire queue, as well as enable A-one PSP Video Converter to automatically turn off the computer once all tasks have been completed.

The video encoding software uses a moderate amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and preserves a good image and sound quality in the output videos. We haven't encountered any technical problems during our testing and A-one PSP Video Converter did not freeze or crash. Unfortunately, the tool failed a couple of tasks (e.g. MOV and MPG-to-MP4). Other than that, we strongly recommend it to all users.
