Asman Task Management is an intuitive piece of software whose main function resides in offering you the ability to put some structure into your everyday assignments, being able to group them according to their type.

The first time you run the application, you need to allow it to create all the files that it prompts you to, in order for it to function properly.

Once that is done, Asman Task Management reveals its interface, similar to a chest of drawers, with sixteen different storage units. Their position or number however, cannot be adjusted according to your preferences.

To get started, you will need to assign a name to the drawers that you intend to work with, clicking on the ‘No Label’ section, which lets you input a name for it. It takes a good few seconds for the change to be saved, and the program will inform you of that.

Subsequently, you can begin creating ‘New Folders’ in your drawers, given them a name and optionally, a series of ‘Details / Notes’. You can now add a sub-project to your directory, then input the corresponding tasks.

When adding a new entry, aside from giving it a title, you can also create a reminder for a specific date in the calendar; note that you cannot define the time of day when it should go off. Associating the task with locally stored files or loading them into the tool is not supported.

A dedicated field allows you to ‘Delegate’ entries to a specific individual. This way, you will remember who has to provide you with results. By ticking the box corresponding to your task, you will be signaling it as being complete.

To conclude, Asman Task Management is a useful yet rather demanding utility, which aims to help you better organize your daily work, together with tasks and projects, but its relatively slow response speed and lack of customization options may deter some from using it.
