With this application you can convert Microsoft Excel spreadsheets from English into Japanese and vice versa. It facilitates simple-to-understand options wrapped up in a clear-cut workspace, making it accessible to all user levels, whether or not they have previous experience with document conversion tools.

The setup operation doesn't take long and requires minimal user attention. Although this is not mentioned, the program gets integrated into the Windows autostart sequence, so it automatically runs at every system startup and doesn't contain a button for disabling this option.

You should also know that you need Microsoft Excel installed in order for this tool to work properly. Moreover, it uses the Google Translate service to perform the document translations, which means that you also need an active Internet connection.

To get started, it's necessary to obtain and enter your Google API key, and you can test it for any errors. Batch processing is supported in the registered edition, which means that you can convert multiple files at the same time.

These can be added to the task list using the file browser, tree view (select a folder with multiple spreadsheets), or drag-and-drop method. After selecting the translation type (English to Japanese or vice versa), you can ask the application to commit changes for the active sheet only, a block of specific cells, or the entire workbook.

The software program worked well in our tests, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt error dialogs. It carried out conversion jobs swiftly while remaining light on system resources usage.

On the other hand, it implements a light set of features that doesn't justify the price of the full edition. Nevertheless, you can test the utility for yourself.
