If you photos that display image noise, that blurry effect that is caused by the sensor and circuitry of a scanner or digital camera, and you want to improve their quality, Noise Reducer Pro can give you a helping hand.

The interface is so light that it only contains a preview pane and a small toolbar above it. IT has several zoom levels, three points of view and a reduction level bar that comes very handy in the process. Excepting the already mentioned traits, there are no other hidden settings or controls.

After a photo is uploaded, the application splits the pane in two, the original and the processed result(denoised image). While adjusting the slider, the result will update on the spot, allowing you to hit the exact level of quality needed.

Furthermore, you can change the point of view from the default "Dual view" where you have both photos displayed, to "Split View" or "Single View." If you split the view, a single instance of the image will be displayed, but with a vertical bar in the middle. The right side is denoised, so if you want to compare specific spots to the original, just drag the bar left or right, enlarge either the original or the processed image.

If you want to manually denoise a photo, you can use the slider near "Auto." It goes from soft, the lowest reduction level, to strong, which efficiently removes all grains. A small downside to the strong level is that, for lower quality images, a sketchy effect is observed after denoising.

Noise Reducer Pro is a neat app that gives you the possibility to increase the quality of photos by removing the noise effect. It can be operated by any user as it's very intuitive and requires no technical skills.
