Tracking your inventory and managing its contents can be quite arduous. This is precisely where the intent behind BoxHero lies — in giving you the possibility to lessen the burden of inventory management.

The design of BoxHero is quite a simplistic, easily comprehensible one, where the menus are grouped into a column on the left side of the interface. The “Item List” menu is the first one on that list, allowing the user to quickly see their added items, delete, or add more.

Upon clicking on a commodity present in the “Item List”, information such as quantity and history of that specific item is displayed on the right side, next to the text fields where the user can insert a barcode, print a label, and designate an item category for that product — along with a minimum stock option, useful to notify you when that comes to pass.

Options such as stock in, out, and audit are also available. The interface is intuitive, so adding new products or removing old ones is a straightforward process. If your inventory has been stored via Excel files, BoxHero can read them and automatically insert the info into the app.

The dashboard tab is also meant to give you an overview of your inventory in a more comprehensible manner, presenting stock info from the last 30 days based on their metrics.

Statistics are important for businesses, and the “Analysis” tab is meant to provide that. Through it, you can see crucial inventory statistics for your business.

In there, you can view the average quantity of a certain product, along with more specific info such as estimates for when a product is expected to go out of stock — based on your use — and many others. You also have the option to export said statistics as an Excel file.

The “Label Print” function is also worth mentioning. You can design your label in many ways, and right after that, it’s ready for printing.

BoxHero is an interesting app. It offers plenty of functionality for those looking to better manage the inventory of their business in a neat, simple-to-use package.
